Aleck Woogmaster’s Emotion Picture Presentation
How do we foster joy? Can rage be useful for a positive purpose? Is there anything good in grief? How much stress is too much stress? What is love if not the intersection of affection and gratitude?
The Emotion Picture Presentation is a vulnerable exploration of these questions and more. It’s a celebration in poetic, musical, and visualized form as much as it is a lamentation of a worldwide loss of loving kindness. Featuring heavy doses of spoken word and musical performances, the show is a full production designed to pull the audience into the performance and become immersed in a lightly introspective and often silly momentary community space.
The presentation follows a five-act structure with each act examining a different world of emotional content and context and beyond. Host Aleck Woogmaster combines over two decades of experience on-stage in concert venues, on theater stages, and on-camera to provide a truly unique and dynamic audio-visual experience.
